Welcome to the Town of China, Maine!
Located in Central Maine, China offers easy access to the state capitol and the mid coast area. The town has two large bodies of water: China Lake and Three Mile Pond. The Town of China contains four historic villages: China, South China, Weeks Mills and Branch Mills. As of the 2020 census, China had a population of 4,408 people. China is governed by a five member select board who appoints a town manager to oversee the daily operations of the town.
