The Town of China is requesting bids for 2025 mowing to include Town Properties, Ballfields and Cemetery Mowing. Complete bid documents are available below. The deadline for ALL bids is Friday, January 24, 2025 at 12:00 pm. The Town of China reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Contractors must provide certificates of insurance to the Town of China before work begins. All of the contractors’ employees must be covered by Workers Compensation insurance or are required to complete a predetermination of independent contractor status before commencing work. This form can be found at Independent Contractor Applications (maine.gov) and must be completed online. Liability insurance shall be for $1,000,000. The Town of China must also be listed as an additional insured.
